About Aleda
Aleda Dillard, MA, LLPC
I believe counseling should be a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported as you work through life’s challenges. You don’t have to arrive with all the answers. Sometimes the first step is simply having a safe space to explore what you’re experiencing and begin making sense of what may be happening beneath the surface.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I recognize that every person brings a unique story, set of strengths, relationships, experiences, and goals into the counseling process. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work alongside clients to identify their needs, build on their strengths, develop practical skills, and create meaningful steps toward healing and growth.
I provide counseling to children, teens, adults, and couples experiencing concerns such as anxiety, trauma, Emotional Regulation in life transitions, and relationship difficulties.
Healing Begins with Deep Roots.
Looking Beyond What's Happening on the Surface
My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, with counseling tailored to your individual needs, preferences, strengths, and goals.
Depending on your needs, I may incorporate techniques from:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Motivational Interviewing (MI)
- DBT-Informed Skills
- Strengths-Based Approaches
